SKANDHA BHARATHA MAHA YAGAM (Aug 15th 2021)

Bharath witnessed her Golden Era during the reign of King Vikramaditya with Ujjain as capital and saw the revival of Hindu Sanathana Dharma by Jagathguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya.

Lion Mayura Royal Kingdom (LMRK), with the blessing of Lord Muruga, ancestors of Kumari Kandam, Sri Adi Shankaracharya and King Vikramaditya will perform "Sri Skandha Bharatha Maha Yagam" on 15th August 2021 at Pazhani, Tamil Nadu. The auspicious day falls on the most important day - 15th August 2021, our Country’s Independence Day. 

Selected members of the LMRK are to travel to five sacred places related to Adi Shankaracharya - Kalady (the birthplace of Adhi Sankaracharya) and the Sankara Mutts in the four corners of our country established by him at Puri, Badrinath, Dwaraka, and Kanchi. They would be doing special prayers by reading the sacred text of Sri Kandha Puranam. These five teams would then join Shri Rejith Kumar (LMRK Founder) and other members for a special pooja in Ujjain on 8th August 2021, where special prayers would be performed for Maharaja Vikramaditya and Shradh rituals (Tharpanam) would be performed for the famous nine courtiers (Navratna’s) of Maharaja Vikramaditya and the ancestors of Kumari Kandam.

With the sacred waters collected from four  Sankara Mutts and Shanmugha river from Pazhani, our members will assemble for the Yagam at Pazhani Tamil Nadu, performed by Pazhani Sri Dhandayudhapani Swamy  Devasthanam Archaka Sthanika, “Sivagama  Siromani” “Sivagama Kalpatharu” Sivashri Selva Subramanya Sivachariar.

The purpose of this special Maha Yagam is for our country to get relief from negative influences, diseases, and move to a state of greater financial prosperity. It will help usher a golden period of Sanathana dharma to its highest glory for the welfare of India and the world as per the divine revelation of Lord Muruga to Shri Rejith Kumar.
